JACKSON, Miss., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EastGroup Properties (NYSE: EGP - News) announced today that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $.50 per share payable on December 31, 2007 to shareholders of record of Common Stock on December 18, 2007. This dividend is the 112th consecutive quarterly distribution to EastGroup''s shareholders and represents an annualized dividend rate of $2.00 per share.
